To ensure the optimum grind for each individual specialty, JURA engineers have developed the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.).
Electronically controlled, the precision grinder adjusts to the predefined grind n a fraction of a second, the precision grinder adjusts itself individually to the predefined grind - much faster and more frequently than would be possible manually. Its spectrum ranges from very fine for short classics to very coarse for extended specialties.
But connoisseurs don't need to worry about that at all, because the adjustment is fully automatic for each preparation and, if desired, can still be individually selected before each preparation thanks to the Aroma Selection.
Thanks to the Cold Extraction Process, the Z10 prepares genuine cold brew specialties. While many conventional cold coffee beverages usually consist of hot-brewed, cooled coffee, extraction in the Z10 is done with cold water, pulsating, under high pressure, and tends to be more coarsely ground powder.
The result in the cup is a natural, energizing refreshing drink in which the coffee's fruity aromas are exquisitely brought out without being overpowered by bitterness. Anything else would be just cold coffee.
